These Terms and Conditions ('Terms') govern your use of faro-pro.com and your purchase of any services from Alex Stuart trading as Faro Pro ('Faro Pro', 'we', 'us', 'our'). By using our website or purchasing any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully before making a purchase. If you do not agree, do not use our website or purchase our services.

2. Our Services

Faro Pro provides digital health diagnostic and advisory services to small businesses and sole traders in the United Kingdom. Services include but are not limited to:

•  The Faro Pro Score — a free bespoke diagnostic report assessing a business's online presence across defined criteria

•  Digital advisory and implementation services addressing gaps identified in the diagnostic

•  Any other services listed on faro-pro.com at the time of purchase

 

Full details of each service, including scope, deliverables, and pricing, are set out on faro-pro.com or provided to you in writing prior to purchase. In the event of any conflict between the website description and a written proposal, the written proposal takes precedence.

3. The Contract Between Us

A binding contract is formed between you and Faro Pro when:

•  You place an order and complete payment via faro-pro.com, or

•  You accept a written proposal from Faro Pro and make the agreed payment

 

We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued within 5 business days.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Prices

All prices are displayed on faro-pro.com in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable VAT where stated. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

4.2 Payment

Payment is processed via Squarespace Payments at the point of purchase. We accept payment by debit card and credit card. By submitting your payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

Squarespace Payments is a third-party payment processor. Your card details are transmitted directly to Squarespace's secure payment infrastructure. Faro Pro does not store, process, or have access to your full card details at any time.

4.3 Payment Disputes

If you believe a payment has been taken in error, contact us at alex@faro-pro.com within 14 days of the transaction. We will investigate and respond within 5 business days. You should not initiate a chargeback without first contacting us, as this may delay resolution.

4.4 Failed Payments

If payment fails or is declined, your order will not be confirmed and no service will be commenced. You will be notified and invited to retry with a valid payment method.

5. Delivery and Commencement of Services

Services are delivered digitally. Following confirmation of payment, we will contact you at the email address provided within 2 business days to confirm the scope and commencement timeline.

Delivery timelines for specific services will be agreed in writing at the point of engagement. We will make all reasonable efforts to meet agreed timelines. Where a delay arises due to circumstances outside our control, we will notify you promptly and agree a revised timeline.

6. Your Cancellation Rights

6.1 Cooling-Off Period

If you are a consumer (purchasing as an individual, not in the course of a business), you have a statutory right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of purchase without giving a reason, and receive a full refund.

To exercise this right, contact us at alex@faro-pro.com within 14 days of purchase, stating your name, order details, and your intention to cancel.

6.2 Waiver of Cooling-Off Period

If you request that we commence work within the 14-day cooling-off period, you acknowledge that by doing so you waive your right to cancel once the service has been fully performed. Where the service has been partially performed, you may be charged for the proportion of work completed at the point of cancellation.

6.3 Cancellation After the Cooling-Off Period

After the 14-day cooling-off period, cancellation is at our discretion. Where a service has not yet commenced, we may offer a full or partial refund at our reasonable discretion. Where work has commenced, we reserve the right to charge for work completed to date.

6.4 Business Clients

If you are purchasing in the course of a business, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 cooling-off period does not apply. Cancellation terms for business clients will be as agreed in the relevant written proposal or service agreement.

7. Refunds

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at purchase. Processing times are subject to Squarespace Payments and your card issuer's timelines, typically 5–10 business days.

We reserve the right to decline a refund request where:

•  The service has been fully delivered as agreed

•  The cancellation request falls outside the applicable cancellation window

•  You have materially breached these Terms

 

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Your Responsibilities

To enable us to deliver our services effectively, you agree to:

•  Provide accurate and complete information about your business when requested

•  Respond to reasonable requests for information or feedback in a timely manner

•  Ensure you have the authority to share any business information provided to us

•  Not misuse or misrepresent the outputs of any diagnostic or advisory service

 

Faro Pro is not liable for delays or reduced quality of service arising from your failure to meet these responsibilities.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on faro-pro.com — including text, design, graphics, and the Faro Pro Score framework — is the intellectual property of Alex Stuart trading as Faro Pro, unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

Diagnostic reports and written deliverables produced specifically for you become your property upon full payment. We retain the right to reference the nature of work undertaken (without disclosing confidential details) for the purpose of marketing and case studies, unless you request otherwise in writing.

10. Confidentiality

We treat all information you share with us about your business as confidential. We will not disclose your business information to third parties except where required to deliver the service (e.g. third-party tools), where required by law, or where you have given explicit consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

•  Faro Pro's total liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that service

•  We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or loss of profit arising from your use of our services or reliance on our diagnostic outputs

•  Our diagnostic reports and advisory services represent our professional assessment based on the information available at the time. They do not constitute a guarantee of specific business outcomes.

 

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

12. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us in the first instance at complaint@faro-pro.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days and provide a substantive response within 10 business days.

We are committed to resolving complaints fairly and promptly. If you remain dissatisfied after our internal process, you may seek resolution through alternative dispute resolution (ADR) or the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The date at the top of this document indicates when they were last revised. Continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify active clients of material changes by email.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
